Let's see...
-I'm tired of my job at the hotel. It is not challenging, poor paying, and getting tense. I am starting the search for a real job in the professional world, M-F, with a steady paycheck. I deserve more than I am getting now, not just literally, but financially. I need to kick myself into gear and get out there. Done with hotels, just done. It's nothing more than a glorified restaurant.
-I am currently watching the U.S. Open on tv while baking chocolate chip cookies (made with chocolate pudding). Was hoping for a beach weekend, but may not get it.
-I love my new car. LOVE. Mine's red though:) and a 2009!

24) What song represents you?
"When Will I be Loved"
Some things that have already happened to me this year so far, some of which are pretty stupid and counter my hope of 2009 being a really good year.
1. Rob broke up with me because "it's too hard" and "I just can't do this anymore" which prompted me to inquire heavily about why our relationship was too "hard"--besides the distance. I didn't get an answer. Great, you just did your fellow men a really huge favor on what is now apparently acceptable in a breakup conversation: no good reasons.
2. I am still in debt, and to add to the pile, my student loans have now exited the lovely and convenient grace period after finishing classes. So, I have to pay now. The good side of this is my grandmother should be helping me out soon with some cash so that I can finally get ahead and move out by the summertime.
3. I am starting the daunting task of finding a new church.
4. I have started to notice an unacceptable number of grey hairs which are being dyed tonight. Great, now I have a really excellent chance of attracting a man.
5. My car turns five this year, and my MacBook, three, and neither of them have problems. Toyota and Mac: music to my ears.
6. I turn 30 this year, and I am just pissed about that.
7. I will have my M.A. in hand soon. That's good I guess.
8. I think I am back to drinking coffee officially.
I think also that there is room for improvement here. But, I guess time will tell.
So, you'll have to go to the other one to witness my unabashed love for dooce.com
