New York calling...

As you may know, I have been applying to teach at various community colleges. The majority of them have been in CA, but I threw a couple out-of-staters in the mix just for the heck of it. One was to SUNY Rockland Community College in New York.

Let me say that a few letters have already come back with the thanks-but-no-thanks line, and I've just let it roll off my back--I kind of expected that from the majority of them.

But today, the letter from Rockland said that my application has been forwarded to a selection committee.

*yay*

Of course, that doesn't mean anything yet, but I would be elated to get this job...many prayers to follow:)
